So I can use it for a long time and/or share them with other family members.

We have enjoyed several orders of avocados, blueberries and oranges, and we are thrilled to contribute to sustainable farming. The products are tasty, and it feels good to know where they come from. One question regarding this blog, how do the farmers calculate their prices?
All the best,
Tatjana

Please suggest what farmer I can visit to understand what the conditions looks like for a European farmer.

Comment on Mango: How does it ripen and how to preserve it? by CrowdFarming https://www.crowdfarming.com/blog/en/mango-how-does-it-ripen-and-how-to-preserve-it/#comment-10969 Wed, 02 Apr 2025 07:20:02 +0000 https://blog.cf-tech.link/blog/en/?p=21597#comment-10969 ]]> In reply to Julia.

The climacteric fruits will arrive firm, then it really depends on each fruit and conservation. Keep them in the box with the rest of the mangoes or store them in a paper bag at room temperature, they will ripen within days. Sometimes they can last up to 10 days like this. Once ripen, you can conserve in the fridge to maintain them a bit longer. Each fruit must be checked because they will have their own ripening time 🥭

Comment on What do our farmers think? by CrowdFarming https://www.crowdfarming.com/blog/en/what-do-our-farmers-think/#comment-10815 Thu, 27 Mar 2025 12:14:19 +0000 https://blog.cf-tech.link/blog/en/?p=25692#comment-10815 In reply to Margaret Melrose.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us, we truly appreciate the opportunity to clarify this situation and make things right.

We understand there was confusion about your subscription order. While you successfully canceled three of the boxes, one was inadvertently missed and delivered. We want to assure you this was never an intentional charge, and we sincerely apologize for the oversight.
Regarding delivery times, we hear your frustration about not receiving exact time windows. While this aspect is outside our direct control (as it depends on carrier schedules), we’ve documented your feedback and shared it with our logistics partners to help improve future experiences.

For your next order, we recommend reviewing the order type (one-time vs. subscription) during checkout to ensure it matches your preference. We’re committed to making your experience seamless and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything else, we’re here to help.
