Thank you for the tips about preserving ripen avocados in a bowl of water in the fridge! I recieved my 2 kilos of avocados day before yesterday and they are ripe, so i shall straight away try your method!

They were very green when they arrived and after 5/6 days they started turning dark and showed signs of ripening. Of the 18 avocados I kept 6 for myself and now have them stored in a large bowl of cold water in the fridge. This is how I normally keep avocados when they ripen and I’m not ready to eat.
FYI We also purchased 4kg of lemons, there was 18 large delicious lemons in the box, I kept 10 of them and after one week, I’m still enjoying.

Thank you for your support! Apart from the information in the article, we can tell you that they usually can last up to 2-3 weeks to ripped, some will ripen quicker than others. Once ripped, it can be a good idea to keep it in the fridge to maintain them a bit longer. 🥑
